First the door then the shutters!

Now that the door is fitted we have begun the shutters,what gluten's for punishment we Brits in Bulgaria are.Our windows are pretty large for Bulgarian standards so making shutters is quite a task.They should protect the house in winter from the bad weather and make it more secure,not that we have any real worry about leaving the house empty but better being safe than sorry as they say.We have painted them a lovely red mahogany 5 are finished but still to fit,3 are to do unfortunately the 3 are 8x4 so pretty big.Not doing too bad,its been really warm today around 100deg in full sun not easy to work.
