St Trifon.Valentines day.

Hope you all got cards etc today being as it is valentines.Here we celebrate St Triton's day patron Saint of wine and vineyards.Tradition has it that the villages go trimming the vine groves ready for the year ahead while the townies celebrate with a day of heavy drinking.Today they celebrate both!which gives you the best of both worlds,choci's,flowers and vino!!!Oh yes I nearly forgot big day for the cows and sheep its their first day out after the snow it must feel great for them.

    Thank you for pointing out the email,whoops what a whopper!!Reasons for coming to Bulgaria well we wanted an adventure, got that!cheapness was a main factor, Spain was the first choice but the cost stopped that.So we read up took a few trips and here we are.Would I do it again...........yes if I was younger and had the cash I would try other countries.For me personally the rubbish and animal care are the biggest downer and could drive me out! such a shame the place is beautiful.
