Growing up on a farm Lapwings were as common as the crow's that cover the fields today. I hear that they are a rare sight today,what luck to see them and the other feathered friends.
Behind the bustling Eastfield industrial estate this is what you find,peaceful, tranquil and lots of wildlife.
With all our roads and foot paths in a poor state of repair it seems ironic that large undeveloped industrial estates should stand empty,with only the roads, street lights,cycle lanes and bus stops of all things ready for use.Going by the large advertising boards EEC funding was given OUR MONEY!and what for,to create a no-mans land.No doubt when the powers that be come to develop all will have to be renewed.A great example of wasting Tax payers money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
