Well the snow has arrived in England, and the authorities have been caught out AGAIN!nothing changes.Must say I can't remember snow so early for years.Big fuss for a few centimeters, good job they don't get the snow Bulgaria gets.We walked the dogs,it was a lovely sunny day even though it was below zero. Next week we are moving again, into an (apartment) flat in filey North Yorks, should be interesting.

Cannal boats

On Sunday we went to the" Brighouse basin"which is the mooring area for Canal boats.Canals run all over England used to transport goods such as wool, coal, etc now of course most are used for pleasure.Lovely way to travel via canal boat along long waterways in the summer sun (when we have some sun)

Hollbank Park.

Even though Bradford England is really built up you can still find some lovely places to walk, not may I say like the forest right opposite our Bulgarian home but pretty good. These pictures are of Hollbank Park Bradford.

Back on the Internet!!!!

I am now back with an Internet connection!!dead easy went to Tesco's world ans got a "Dongle"pay as you go use anywhere gadget that you connect to your computer and pay as you go on line brilliant. So down to business, following are some of our pictures of the crossing not very good but shows the contrast in weather from Greece through to here.Note the SNOW Mag the navigator sent us up the Swiss Alps!!!
Notes to remember when traveling the euro way.
  1. The toll roads are very expensive!!!!we spent over £100 on them!!!
  2. "Camping on board "as advertised by the Endeavor line of ferries is total BULL we were sandwiched in between  lorries and cars with no facilities and no dog kennels.
  3. Take great care in Calais that you pet passports are correct and double checked, even treble checked. They are very strict even down to time of flea and worm treatment.
  4. The euro tunnel now charge for DOGS ,46euros each!!!this is a real con more so because the dog stays in the van anyway so why the charge?

From Bulgaria to Bradford.

Hello! yes we have arrived safe and sound, which is a surprise because it wasn't one of our better journeys In short from day 1 when the van wouldn't start, going up the top of the Swiss Alps by mistake, to having to sort out a problem with the dogs passports, and finally loosing my credit card.Really were not fit to allow out alone!!!!
At the moment I am using my daughters computer so no pictures sorry,Just wanted to say hello to all, especially Maureen,Paul Trish,Brian,Damita and our little Gypsy dog.Bradford is a far cry from Bulgaria and don't we know it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
