Village Party.

This is our village party taken Friday night real good fun loved every minute of it.Each song or piece of music lasted ages, don't know how the dancing locals kept going. People take there own drinks,or if they can afford it buy from the shop,it doesn't mater everyone is welcome and even the local young lads join in wonderful.

Kite flying.

The evenings have been so lovely and warm in the mid 70's so we have been taking the dogs in the van a mile or two to the rill,a long concrete water container with a fresh mountain spring that keeps it full.The local villages use it to water animals.

We let the dogs go for a run and a drink,on Wednesday evening we flow our long lasting kites picked up for a £1 or so from England's ago.The balloon, yes well its a David thing if you know him you'll understand if not..................yep wierd!!!!!

Peaches and Cream.

Guess what this summer our peach trees have fruited,producing 8 fine specimens,and they taste lovely sweet and juicy. we are truly amazed because they were only planted 18months ago.peaches yummy my most favorite fruit.

Wasn't it a Party!!!

Saturday was party night,so we got together with our friends and had some fun in the top picture from left following round the table are Vicki,Slava (our Russian friends)Dimitz,Tina his wife,Laina,Lubo,the doctor and Maria his wife,and last but not least Trish and Brian our English friends.Oh and the star as usual Jasper the dog!!

These pictures were taken one hot summers evening and at around 70deg at 10ish hot is the word,we have these fascinating moths that spend the night collecting nectar from our plants.Fascinating to watch.
The weather had made it very hard to work not that we are too bothered at pres,we have however spent a day in Yambol and over the last 4 days been getting the garden ship shape it was looking a little overgrown really tiring in this heat but we Struggle On!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hot,Dog,Gourd.

Well as the title says it HOT very hot,in fact it has touched 100deg and the best place is in the pool.On Thursday we took the Gypsy(bitch)dog to our friendly vet for spaying,and am pleased to say she is fine though a bit sore and on Friday David jabbed her with a pain killer to help.We and she are free from the worry of any puppies coming along,she also had a rabies jab,so anyone who wants a faithful vetted mid size pouch here she is.Good home only of course!

On a completely different note our new crop of gourds are growing fast as the picture shows.

Damitz Fantastic Potatoes!!!!

Today i thought you might like to see a true gardeners fruits of labour.These are our neighbour Damitz fantastic potatoes.What a good crop.If you have read some of my earlier blogs you will have seen his fantastic vegetable garden,it is always full of all kinds of produce for his family and keeps them all winter.
