Snow on the Brig

It may be very very cold,snowing,and difficult to get about but just take a moment to look at the view from the top of the cliff's over looking the brig.(a long piece rockie land jutting out to sea)

What a good bunch of lads and lassies at Halifax RSPCA.On Sunday 12th they had an open day and as our daughter Emma works there we decided to bob in.It was pretty busy with lovely mulled wine and mince pies on offer,lots of cats,small animals to look at.There were a couple of dogs out,but the kennels were out of bounds,the poor things get upset so if you want a look you need to call in.Hats off to gang who work hard to look after our disgarded pets!!!
                                                                     Shame on us !!!!!

What Weather!!!!





We have returned to more snow than I have seen in England for years, really bad even the main roads here in Bradford are nearly impassable,no chance of going to Filey.Never mind have walked dogs and watched Paula and friends sledging.

The new Christmas Gourde.



Well the snow has arrived in England,and the authorities have been caught out AGAIN!nothing changes.Must say I can't remember snow so early for years.Big fuss for a few centimeters,good job they don't get the snow Bulgaria gets.We walked the dogs,it was a lovely sunny day even though it was below zero. Next week we are moving again,into an (apartment) flat in filey North Yorks,should be interesting.

20th of  November was my lovely Mums 90th birthday,we spent the day in filey walked on the beach,it was wet,cold,but lovely.6pm we went to the party what a good night,as you can see.Mum is the lady on left on the right is my aunt Wena

On Sunday we went to the" Brighouse basin"which is the mooring area for Canal boats.Canals run all over England used to transport goods such as wool,coal,etc now of course most are used for pleasure.Lovely way to travel via canal boat along long waterways in the summer sun (when we have some sun)
