Baba Dinka.

Too cold to continue with greenhouse beep!!!poor plants will have to stay out longer.And then"Maggie,Maggie,yes its Babe (grandma) Dinka calling so of i trot next door(well its two fields away)on arriving she gives me a kiss and leads me to the summerhouse where she has some goodies apples,grapes and rakia for David,she does this quite often I truely love grandad (diado) and baba they have little and give loads both in there 80's still choping wood for the pechka(fire).Tales to tell about them will follow your gonna laugh me thinks!!!!!

The Greenhouse!!!!

Well for the past year I have wanted a greenhouse ,there are lots of frames around but we have not been able to get a complete one and some are really expensive but hey wait David technical man+assistant Mags can build our own bob the builder eat your heart out so for the price of 28lv=£14.00 we did well got started yesterday with the frame doesn't look much but wait for the finished product. (if it stops raining of course!!!!)

On the road again 7th Oct 2007

2.30 October 6th our time up again had good nights sleep tea cheese and ham sarnies for brekie.On the road France more hilly lots of tree's and more farming, the weather has got cooler the nearer we get to Germany still lovely during the day.Scenic views of hills and valleys,small villages,churches very pretty.

There's a joke in that picture me thinks!!!!

Crossing the German boarder no stopping haven't shown passports once yet.More tree's they must be the leaders in the tree stakes,never seen so many in one area.Have stoped for lunch in one of the many picnic area's (with Loo's)may I add all along the route clean and tidy although the men here seem to pee on a tree or there cars,ah well can't have everything.Germans drive like looni's very pushy.

Visitors 28/10/2009

Today the company we bought our house from rang to ask if they could bring some potential clients to see us,no prob's Tania from Bulgarian Properties has always been really brilliant helped us through the red tape etc a must if you don't speak the lingo.So no concreting its all hands on deck to make sure the house looks tidy.Nice people I hope they buy mind Bulgaria isn't for everyone and there are quite a few differences to England so we tried to give them a little info for and against hope it helped.I refuse to tell anyone its all roses cos nothing ever is.Good day enjoyed it.

Gourds 27/10/09

Today I have been painting not pictures gourds which are a member of the pumpkin family.I get David whom I call my technical adviser to drill a hole in front of them, and then we empty the seeds out and prepare them for painting,when finished they make great bird houses or just unusual presents.We also like playing guitar,and taking photo's sometimes its hard to fit things into a day especially when the house is still to finish.Anyway its 7.30 so I'm off to strum guitar.

Sand Man 26/10/09

Today Monday we have had another ton of sand delivered I say another because we have had tons upon tons.Between us we must have layed miles of concrete all round the house ,because when it rains it really rains!!! and the whole garden is mud not just any mud but sticky walk every were mud so you need good paths and we've got um!

France 6th October 2007

4.30pm have stopped to rest outside Metz,there are rest spots all along the route with loo's,petrol,and shops.the roads in France are all toll maybe that's why the facilities are so good and no rubbish at all shows the French ain't all bad,anyway this stop is hidden in fur tree's really beautiful "put the kettle on"which we just found after almost emptying the van don't know who's fault that was! first tea of the day yum!yum! well whacked see you tomorrow.

Where Off!!! 6/10/2007

Well where off said our goodbyes for a while,kids looking on with obvious interpretation no words just silent fears and the knowledge that our sense of direction is not should I say our best asset but with our trusty satnav (a bri invention)its go!go!go! 12.30am October 6th 2007 and the tunnel awaits.

Well its been a good journey got lost a couple of times but hey even sat-nav's make mistakes and there were road works.Boarding the tunnel a real weird experience bon voyage England!hello France.

Winter time begins.

Well the clock have gone back so everyone here is getting ready for winter.This morning I walked through the forest with my dogs Jaz and Winston and the woodcutters were going hell for leather at the tree's chopping for the fires, most of the villages burn wood.

Damita's our neighbour gave me some wine yum i gave him some home made fruit cake,my cake is quite a joke in England for 34 years I've attempted to make cakes sponge,fruit,any with no success everyone used to take the micki.Daft having to travel 2000+miles to create a perfect cake!!!

Up at 8.30 a bit of breki then off I go to my neighbours Laina,yes its the mushroom hunt.We set off with bag and Knife into the forest its a good way to have a chat in broken English Bulgarian and get a free meal a very pleasant morning walk.My husband cant understand how we women communicate but we do .Coffee then gardening always plenty to do.

A slow process!!!

This is sure gonna be slow!!!!Hi folks it could take a gal of 53 some time to pick this blogging thing up,not framing too well at the moment.

I really hope I get it cos I've got loads to write and lots of good pictures too plus info on Bulgaria,so please bare with me have been messing all day with this think hope its worth it.Going to bed wacked bye bye.
